Pickle Chicken Bacon Ranch on Sourdough
I need something super quick the other night on the Blackstone. I didn't feel like messing with side dishes so I wanted it to be filling without losing any flavor.
Pickles + Hot Honey + Ranch = Great Combo.

Ingredients
-
Sourdough bread
-
Chicken breast or chicken cutlets
-
Thick Cut Bacon
-
Dill pickles (I used The Crazy Cumber - they're local here to central Ohio and awesome)
-
Ranch dressing (I use Jet's, they sell bottles of it & it's my favorite)
-
Sliced provolone cheese
-
Butter
-
Blackstone Parmesan Ranch seasoning (no longer made**)
-
Hot Honey (I used Trader Joe's)
Make it:
Lay your chicken on the griddle (I cut my breasts in half for a thinner piece). Season your chicken and lay the thick bacon down too. Cook both until cooked through.
Butter your sourdough or the griddle itself and toast it until golden and crisp.
Layer the chicken onto your toasted sourdough, followed by your cheese. Drizzle your ranch on top then lay your crispy bacon on. I like to drizzle the hot honey on top of the bacon. Top that with your sliced dill pickles and finish it off with your second piece of sourdough.
For an extra-melty sandwich, place it back on the griddle or in a skillet for a minute or two, pressing gently until the cheese is melted and everything is warmed through.
Slice it in half and serve immediately.
